Pao pereira: Beljanski’s name far too often usurped
At The Beljanski Foundation, we want to use only the highest concentration of Pao pereira. That is why an independent lab conducted an analysis of other Pao pereira products and their concentration of Flavopereirine (the key alkaloid in Pao pereira).
Therefore, a project was undertaken to compare a number of different dietary supplements on the market that contain and advertise Pao pereira.Comparison of various dietary supplements containing Pao pereira:
The Beljanski Foundation procured nine samples of dietary supplements from the United States and Europe for comparison. The objective was to compare the levels of flavopereirine to see if the beneficial compound in the products were similar in content across several brands. The nine intact, sealed bottles were submitted to the same independent laboratory for analysis. The test method used, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), was the same for all samples tested. The unused portions of the samples were returned to The Beljanski Foundation to be examined visually. All samples were found to be intact and not discolored or damaged. The results of the testing were quite dramatic in regard to the flavopereirine content in each sample. Among the nine samples tested, seven of the products showed values of less than 100 parts per million (ppm), and the two remaining samples exhibited results that were greater than 800 ppm. The samples and results of the comparison are as follows:- Pao Pereira Dieti Natura SAE Group (Switzerland) ……………..…. Below LOQ*
- Pao Pereira 40 Botagenic® Premedica Health Resources, LLC (USA) Below LOQ*
- Pao 140 Bonté Naturelle NL Distributors Corp (Canada) ….. ………… Below LOQ*
- Amazon Herbs Tincture (1:4) Tropilab® (USA) ………………………………. 10 ppm
- Super Smart Pao Pereira PP40 (Luxembourg) ………………………………………………… 13 ppm
- Pau Pereira Rainforest Pharmacy (USA) ……………………………………….. 27 ppm
- Pao Pereira Janine Benoit (Spain) …………………………. 52 ppm
- Pao V® Maison Beljanski (USA) ………………………….. 823 ppm
- Pao V “FM”® Maison Beljanski (USA) ………………….. 962 ppm
To summarize
The information presented clearly indicates that the majority of Pao pereira products analyzed available on the market worldwide have limited amounts of flavopereirine, the beneficial alkaloid (< 100 ppm), unlike the two Maison Beljanski products (> 800 ppm). Remember that The Beljanski Foundation’s extensive research programs have shown the higher the level of flavopereirine alkaloid, the greater the benefit. Obviously, the other companies have cited the research of The Beljanski Foundation and used it to market their own products with no supporting data of their own, but they cannot be compared to Beljanski’s formulation and should not claim to have the same properties and effects. While I cannot offer a definite reason for the drastic differences in flavopereirine content in the various products tested, I would hypothesize that there may be differences in the manufacturing processes or in the materials used for production. The research programs of The Beljanski Foundation have been conducted with materials supplied by Maison Beljanski, a company with principles based on quality and integrity, and also the only company to own the extraction patents developed by my father, Mirko Beljanski, PhD, and to respect the extraction methods and the quality he defined.Knowing what’s actually in your supplements is often a challenge. There may be a less expensive version, but there is a reason it is less expensive, and when you are dealing with your health, you should not have to worry about the quality of what you are putting in your body.
