A Great Event at Maison Beljanski About Autism

As part of its Healthy Tuesdays series, Maison Beljanski hosted a special event dedicated to Autism. The Healthy Tuesdays series is all about empowering people with cutting edge, as well as practical information, about various aspects of Integrative Medicine. The autism event did not fail to deliver, with two great speakers, Dr. Robert Melillo and Dr. John Hall presenting different, but complimentary approaches to autism.

Healthy Tuesdays Autism Graphic

Just as we have seen the number of cancer cases growing alarmingly around the word, we are seeing the epidemic of autism increase. Today just in the USA alone, one out of 68 children is diagnosed with autism. The key symptoms of the disease are language issues (25% of kids with autism are non-verbal), tendency to aggression and hyperactivity, gut health imbalance, and sleep disorders.

Dr. Robert Melillo

Dr. Melillo, an expert in the field of functional neurology, with a master’s degree in neuroscience and clinical rehabilitation neuropsychology, gives a primer on epigenetics and the importance of environmental factors in the onset of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). According to Dr. Melillo, autism results from a functional dis-connectivity and immature development of certain areas of the brain, inducing a weak functional connectivity between the two hemispheres of the brain. Fortunately, these imbalances can be assessed and corrected through exercises and an elimination diet aimed at reducing the inflammation of the gut. It gives parents hope that lifestyle changes can improve their affected children.  As Dr. Melillo explains in his book, Disconnected Kids, OCD/ADHD/Autism/Dyslexia syndromes occur when “areas in the brain, especially the two hemispheres of the brain, are not electrically balanced, or synchronized.”

The Center on Park, located in New York, NY, provides intensive treatment and support to people with all sorts of psychiatric disabilities.

Dr. John Hall

Dr. Hall is the Director of Research at The Beljanski Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to researching natural solutions to help fight cancer and other chronic diseases linked to a loss of immunity. Dr. Hall presented early promising results of administration of a special preparation of  bacterial RNA fragments to children with ASD. At least two doctors in Europe have already reported marked improvement of their autistic patients with this nutritional approach. Those specific RNA fragments have already shown the ability, in a clinical trial conducted at Cancer treatment Centers of America*, to safely stimulate the formation of white blood cells and platelets in patients at the verge of thrombocytopenia, a common side effect of harsh chemotherapy. As chemotherapy induces a loss of the lining of the intestine, patients lose their ability to produce a decent number of platelets, the blood cells that help with clotting, explained Dr Hall. However, when taking this bacterial RNA fragments, they maintain the ability to produce those immunity cells. Based on early reports, the adjunct of those specific bacterial RNA fragments to autistic children’s diet seem to safely and successfully improve their immune systems and their brain function.

The Beljanski Foundation is looking to fund additional research for Autism.

Mirko Beljanski: A new article in The Optimist Daily!

optimist

by Sylvie Beljanski

We are pleased to share with you a long article written by Janet Rae-Dupree, entitled “Can a plant heal cancer patients?”, and recently published online in  The Optimist Daily1.

The article recounts the amazing story of my father Mirko Beljanski, Father of environmental medicine, and his groundbreaking scientific discoveries. You will learn “how Mirko Beljanski’s lifelong research path come to open new avenues for treating cancer and, possibly, preventing its development in the first place”.

Here is an excerpt of  this well-documented article:

“[…] Beljanski is one of the first molecular biologists to study RNA and its role in cell regulation. His work ultimately upended the previous accepted wisdom about what makes cancerous cells different from normal cells and brings us to today’s ongoing research at centers in the United States, where the plant extracts he refined are making advances against prostate, pancreatic, ovarian and even brain cancer and the RNA fragments […].

Beljanski’s career began at the same time that the field of molecular biology did, with the discovery of how DNA’s double helix stores and deploys genetic information. For more than 40 years, molecular biologists focused solely on genetics, protein expression and how mutations to genes could cause cancer. Study the “letters” of the genetic alphabet, the theory went, and you would spot “typos” that lead to cancer. Figure out how to prevent those typos and you could learn how to stop cancer in its tracks.

But Beljanski demonstrated that the primary physical difference between normal and cancerous DNA lies within the structure of the double helix itself. DNA in cancerous cells has unwound, leaving gaping loops and holes where the two curving sides of the double helix fail to latch securely to each other any longer.[…]”.

New article in the Townsend Letter: A Natural Approach to Cancer

The Natural Approach to Cancer

beljanskicoverweb1-copyThe Magazine Townsend Letter has published an article written by Sylvie Beljanski, the Vice-President of the Beljanski Foundation and daughter of Mirko Beljanski, Issue of August – September 2016. In the article titled “The Natural Approach to Cancer” Sylvie Beljanski explains that her father’s research has proved the correlation between the environment and its effects on the DNA. The environment, especially the one we are living in, with all the pollution and toxins for instance, constitutes one of the major causes of cancer. Mirko Beljanski is now considered as the father of Environmental Medicine for all the knowledge and progress his research brought to the war on cancer.

His dedication to find a cure to cancer of any kind with natural resources led him to discover natural extracts such as the Pao pereira, the Rauwolfia vomitoria, or the golden leaf of Ginkgo which help to re-organize a destabilized DNA.

Carrying on the legacy of Mirko Beljanski, and over the last 17 years The Beljanski Foundation has developed a research program with several high profile institutions to rigorously assess the anti-cancer potential of identified natural compounds.

All of those publications were published on peer reviewed Medical Journal and are available on Pubmed.gov (the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health).

Prostate cancer

Columbia UniversityPre-cancerous and cancerous cells at Columbia University Medical Center

At Columbia University’s Department of Holistic Urology, preclinical and clinical studies were conducted with two plant extracts, Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria on prostate cancer cells and on men with prostate issues.

Advanced Cancer cells resistant to hormonal treatment at Nanjing University

Nanjing_UniversityThe research team at Nanjing University used innovative techniques to demonstrate that the Pao pereira extract is effective even against prostate cancer cells that no longer responded to androgen deprivation therapy.

Pancreatic Cancer at Kansas University Medical Center

Kansas university

Research was recently completed at Kansas University Medical Center where the effects of Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria were analyzed on pancreatic cancer cells. Two new scientific articles were published confirming the excellent results of these studies and the synergy with conventional chemotherapies. Over the course of the study, the Pao pereira was seen to suppress tumor growth significantly, by up to 72% and Gemcitabine at the dose used did not provide any reduction in tumor weight, when Rauwolfia vomitoria alone decreased tumor weight by 53% at the daily dose of 20 mg/kg, and 46% at the daily dose of 50 mg/kg, compared with saline-treated control. By combining Rauwolfia vomitoria with Gemcitabine, the decrease in tumor weight was 56% at both Rauwolfia vomitoria doses.

Ovarian Cancer at Kansas University Medical Center

The scientific team found that Rauwolfia vomitoria was effective against ovarian cancer cells both alone and in combination with carboplatin. The combination decreased tumor size in animal experiments by 87 to 90% and a second study concludes that “In vivo, Pao pereira alone suppressed tumor growth by 79% and decreased volume of ascites by 55%. When Pao pereira was combined with carboplatin, tumor inhibition reached 97% and ascites was completely eradicated.

Clinical Trial on Thrombocytopenia at Cancer Treatment Center of America

Small RNA fragments that specifically trigger DNA synthesis in healthy bone marrow stem cells, were used in another clinical trial for platelet support. The data reveals that E. coli RNA fragments stimulate platelet proliferation in chemotherapy patients. The study also proved that the source from which the RNA fragments are prepared is critical. The study concluded that Patients receiving E. coli RNA fragments demonstrated a more rapid recovery in platelet count and higher nadir platelet count. None of the patients receiving the E. coli RNA fragments required a chemotherapy dose reduction due to thrombocytopenia.
