National Cancer Survivors DayA Heartfelt Message From Sylvie Beljanski

National Cancer Survivors Day is meant to give people hope and recognize that after a cancer diagnosis, life can still be a reality. The first “official” National Cancer Survivors Day was held in 1988 and has been celebrated annually on the first Sunday in June throughout the United States and now the rest of the world.

Sylvie Beljanski, Founder and Vice President of The Beljanski Foundation, shares an incredibly special, heartfelt message in the video below. In a year that has been all about the “science”, scandals and medical breakthroughs of COVID-19, this year more than ever, it is important to reflect on how to help those suffering from a cancer diagnosis, which is a much longer and dangerous road to recovery.
