Immunity or Immunization?Virtual Healthy Tuesdays Recap

As we are in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and seeing the biggest campaign for vaccinations to date, the million dollar question that was addressed on April 16th Virtual Healthy Tuesdays was:

Should we go with our Immunity or an Immunization?

Sylvie Beljanski and Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly were the keynote speakers for this event and shared their insights and expertise with a fully captivated audience. Before really diving into the topic, one must understand the meaning of the two words. Immunity is an organism’s ability to protect itself from a pathogen. On the other hand, immunization is the action of making a person or animal immune to infection, typically by a vaccination.
