Follow Your Gut | Colorectal Cancer Virtual Healthy Tuesdays Recap

In honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, on March 16th Virtual Healthy Tuesdays featured Sylvie Beljanski and Dr. Joel Fuhrman enlightening guests on gut health.

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death for both men and women in the United States with an average of 1 in 20 people being at risk to contract this disease. It covers bowel, colon or rectal cancer. Some of the more common symptoms of colorectal cancer include a change in bowel habits, bleeding from the anus, blood in your stool, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, feeling lethargic and unexplained weight loss. Traditional treatments for this disease have a great deal of risk and negative side effects. Surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy all put you at risk and do not work very well.

“Colorectal Cancer (CRC) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The outcome for CRC patients remains poor. Thus, a new strategy for CRC Treatment is urgently needed.”

Sylvie Beljanski Shares New Research on Colorectal Cancer and Pao Pereira

Ms. Beljanski, Founder of The Beljanski Foundation, provided explanations, charts, images and research papers showing Pao pereira treating colorectal cancer.

Pao pereira (Geissospermum vellosii) is a tree growing in the Amazon rain forest. Back in the 1980s Dr. Mirko Beljanski was first to identify the remarkable anti-cancer and anti-viral properties of Pao pereira (Pau pereira). In one of his publications, he tested and proved the effectiveness of Pao pereira (Pau pereira) on colon cancer cells. Recently, a hospital in Taiwan confirmed Dr. Beljanski’s research. The study by the team in Taiwan showed that flavopereirine (the active alkaloid in Pao pereira) suppressed colorectal cancer cell growth. Ms. Beljanski explained how this in itself is fantastic news, but unfortunately the problem with colon cancer is that even once you get rid of colon cancer, more often than a second cancer attacks the body (usually liver cancer). Ms. Beljanski went on to provide the guests with a second research paper showing Pao pereira’s (Pau pereira) effectiveness against liver cancer. The results of these research papers is truly remarkable. It gives people suffering from colorectal cancer a natural, effective treatment option without any negative side effects. A treatment option that has been shown to work at all stages of cancer, including cancer stem cells, and is not organ nor gender specific.
